Meet Suzi - Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Coastal Wellness

Suzi smiles warmly, exuding professionalism and compassion, ready to provide expert support in mental health care.

As a therapist with 40 plus years in personal alcohol/drug recovery and a traumatic sibling death in 1979 my current focus is on helping family members and friends of people involved with or in recovery from alcohol, drugs and/or depression, anxiety and bipolar issues or difficult loss. I enjoy the unique personal perspective of how my former addiction affected people in my life and how my parents’ were able to influence me to transform my life at an early age. I also trained extensively in Codependency Recovery with two Master Codependency therapists. I teach my clients how to move beyond surviving difficult life situations (including death/loss and life transition issues) and how to thrive and transmute their pain into strength.
